#BINGEONTHECULTURE

From the Founder & CEO

Hey fam,

It's been a busy couple of weeks as our team work to migrate our platform, customers and content as seamless as possible. As a reminder, all customers will need to reset their passwords in order to access their accounts. I've included a link of step-by-step instructions on how to do so. Once you have reset your password, you will need to update your kweliTV apps. Here are some of our platform upgrades:

  • New design for our website and apps
  • Enhanced Live TV experience with EPG schedule and live chat
  • Two new subscriptions plans — $2.99 (monthly + ads) and $1.99 (kweliKIDS + child-friendly ads)
  • A loyalty program (kweliREWARDS) that allows customers to earn points the longer you subscribe, watch content, refer us to friends or share us on social. Those points can be used towards a free subscription, a shirt in our merch store or a gift card from participating Black-owned businesses. We made points retroactive so those who have been loyal subscribers should see points in their accounts right now.
  • A new Help Center and more!

Over the next several weeks we will be unveiling more features and content to the platform as a part of our ongoing upgrade. So stay tuned! If you have checked out the new platform already, I hope you've been enjoying it so far. We welcome your feedback

Update on Amazon Firestick

While our previous developer has released our app, Amazon has rejected our new app because they believe kweliTV does not "fit their content policy." So unfortunately, Amazon Firestick is the only app that is still not live. It's beyond our control. We've reached out to Amazon to rectify this issue without much luck so far. We'll keep you posted. In the meantime, customers can stream kweliTV on our other devices and website. Here are directions on how to stream to your Amazon Firestick from your mobile device or tablet.
