A Message from Pastor Jesse

Hello Mission Campus,

I am looking forward to this Sunday as we will be witnessing 11 people getting baptized! I love baptism Sundays, it is hard not to be encouraged on these weekends as we see evidence of God and His grace at work in the lives of His people. We will also be studying John 15:1-17 and considering what Jesus meant when he said, “I am the true vine.”

SELAH Worship Night

As we look around we know that things are not as they were designed. Our world is plagued with illness, loss, war, corruption, and political upheaval… just to name a few. This month at Selah, we will be focusing on current events, coming before our Lord in Prayer and Song to lift our concerns heavenward.

Join us as we come before Him on Tuesday, November 21st at 7:00pm in the Worship Centre to pray for our community, our nation and our world!

No registration required, childcare will not be provided.

Christmas Toy Drive

Join us in spreading warmth and joy this holiday season by participating in our Christmas Toy Drive for families in need. From now until December 8th, bring in a new, unwrapped toy and drop it off at our Connect Desk on the weekend. Share the love and make this Christmas a season of giving!

Annual General Meeting

On Tuesday, November 28 at 7:00pm, we are hosting our Northview AGM at the Downes Road location. On the agenda are some significant financial updates, exciting updates from our church plants and locations, and a discussion regarding the new building project at Downes Road. We look forward to seeing members from all of our different locations present.

Family Movie Night

Join us for a fun evening filled with laughter and joy as we feature the Christmas movie "Klaus" on Friday, December 8th at 7pm in the Worship Centre. Snuggle up and immerse yourselves in the charming tale that unfolds in the snowy town of Smeerensberg. Hot chocolate and popcorn will be provided!

No registration required, doors open at 6:15pm.

Women's Christmas Dessert Social

Invite a friend and join us for a Christmas Dessert Social on December 11 from 7-8:30pm. Let's savor the sweetness of the holidays in the company of wonderful women from our community. We hope you'll join us!

Parent Discipleship Sessions

At Northview we believe that parents, grandparents and guardians are the primary disciple-makers of our children. This is such a vital role to play in the home that we want to help you as you guide the children in your life towards following Jesus. Over the next months we are hosting a series of Parent Discipleship Nights at our Downes Road location and the next one is coming up.

Join us on November 23 as pastors Joshua Scott and Thaleia Sawatzky walk us through two very important questions:

How Do I Stop My Child from Sinning?
How Do I Have a Healthy Kid This Year?

Matthew Bible Study

This winter we will be getting back into the book of Matthew as we study Jesus' Final Week. From His triumphal entry into Jerusalem, to His increasing conflict with the religious leaders, to His eventual betrayal, arrest, trials, death, and resurrection - this is going to be a study you don't want to miss!

This is part 3 of our 3 part series in The Gospel of Matthew for those of you who joined us in 2022-2023, and we're excited to finally finish the story! For those of you who didn't complete part 1 & 2, don't worry, this is a stand-alone study and we'll fill in the context as we start things off. You'll have no trouble joining in!

It hurts to lose someone. GriefShare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. You don’t have to go through the grieving process alone. GriefShare is led by people who understand what you are going through and want to help. We welcome anyone grieving to join us on Tuesdays from 7pm - 9pm at the Downes Road location.
